We are proud to announce that “Discovering Langkawi with Irshad Mobarak: Passages Through Time” has official selected in VAASA Wildlife Film Festival in Finland.

“Discovering Langkawi with Irshad Mobarak” is both a book as well as a 10-episode documentary which was filmed by SCM Asia between 2016-2017 on the beautiful Langkawi archipelago. Passages Through Time is one of the episodes and it shares the story of the birth of Langkawi.

About VAASA Wildlife Film Festival, Finland

Vaasa Wildlife Nature Film Festival is an international environmental film festival and it has been organized in Vaasa every second year since 2002. Wildlife Vaasa festival is the only event in its field in Scandinavia and therefore it’s an important networking opportunity for Finnish nature film makers.

The festival’s main focal point is its film competition, which gets participants from all over the world. Participation in the festival competition enables free public screenings that are available to all Vaasa residents during the festival days.
